Finding horses in the wild to photograph and observe in order to better understand the real needs of our backyard friends was the research project at hand.     Rosie the mule was looking for a loving home to live out her senior years. She had been used for packing in the mountains all her life. And although still going strong, at 35 years old and blind in one eye, it was time to retire. We were only too happy to give Rosie her retirement dream and are so happy she is with us! She is extremely gentle, loves relating with humans, especially children, and is now rewarded for her life of service with freedom from any expectation or burd
